Ronald Hibbard Obituary

Ronald Raymond Hibbard II (Ronnie), age 40, passed away on February 21, 2026, in Cleveland, OH, surrounded by loved ones. He was born on June 02, 1985, in Charleston, WV, to Ronald and Denise (Workman) Hibbard. Ronnie was employed by Cres Cor, where he was blessed with coworkers who shared his sense of humor, filling even the longest days with laughter. He enjoyed watching his kids play sports, making memories with his friends, family, and girlfriend, Amy. But most of all, Ronnie found joy in making people laugh, always taking funny photos, and keeping everyone on their toes with his witty replies. One of our favorite memories is when Ronnie drank Bill’s King of Pop Can without realizing it was a collector’s item.

Ronnie is survived by his parents, Ron and Denise; his children, Kenzie and Charlie; his significant other, Amy (Kyly) Hakola; his sister, Jessica (Joshua) Drobil; his nieces, Bayli, Riley, and Jaclyn; Blue and Harley (Dogs); his Aunts and Uncles: Dwayne Workman, Randy Hibbard, Diane (Bill) Kobetitsch, Therese (Mike) Benz; along with extended family and many close friends who will carry his sense of humor with them always.

He was preceded in death by his Grandparents: Raymond and Effie Hibbard; Emory and Hazel Workman; Aunts and Uncles: Chuck Hibbard, Richard and Jackie Harless, Fred and Donna Beech; his cousin, Ashley Hibbard; and niece, Lana Drobil.

We are certain Heaven just got more entertaining. A lifelong Cleveland Browns, West Virginia Mountaineers, and Dallas Cowboys fan, he stayed loyal through every season and always believed next year was the year. He may have decided to leave the party early, but the laughter, memories, and love he gave will live on in all of us. “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” — Dr. Seuss.
